Mr. Trixter, a Los Angeles native, started writing in 1991. Son of a painter and sculptor, early exposure and creative influence led to his passion for art and graffiti through the cultures of skateboarding and hip-hop. During his college years as assistant art director for campus advertising at SFSU in San Francisco he carved his mark on the greater west coast and global graffiti scene. Majoring in graphic design helped to further develop his career in the arts. After 30 years in the game, Trixter is undeniably a west coast icon in the world of graffiti.

Trixter’s claim to fame has been remaining active and consistent over three decades creating an impressive body of work from street to studio. Working independently in the realms of art, design, fashion, film and music. A true renaissance man, balancing graffiti and murals as well as commercial work with clients including Guess, Nike, Converse, Scion/Toyota, HBO and Showtime. His signature style appears in movies, commercials, music videos and product design for recording artists such as Gwen Stefani, Dave Navarro, Usher, Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, T-Pain, Lil Bow Wow, Christina Aguilera and Macy Gray. His rare gallery works were displayed at San Francisco’s MOMA / Yerba Buena Center, The Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles and several galleries coast to coast. In more recent years Mr. Trixter participated in a Cultural Affairs and State Department funded cross cultural exchange program traveling overseas teaching a graffiti art curriculum to youth and spoke at universities as a graffiti cultural ambassador. An obsession with graffiti and art has led to clothing design, product design, scenic art, licensing, commissions, education and youth outreach and most recently fine art.
